Turkish delegation to attend Mecca Pact political and defense meeting in Riyadh

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan will participate on Thursday in the meeting of the Mecca Pact's Political, Strategic and Defense Committee, which will be held in Riyadh.

The Turkish delegation will also include Defense Minister Yasar Guler and Chief of General Staff Selçuk Bayraktaroglu, according to Anadolu Agency.

During the meeting, Fidan is expected to present Turkey's vision for the institutionalization of the pact and outline the next steps, as well as share Ankara's assessment of threats in the Middle East.
