Houthis renew drone attacks on Marib; Yemeni army downs UAV

Houthi forces renewed their drone attacks on the eastern Yemeni city of Marib on Saturday, as the Yemeni army announced it had shot down one of the drones and intercepted others flying over the city.

A correspondent for Al Arabiya reported that the Houthis launched drone strikes targeting Marib, while government air defenses responded to several drones that continued to fly over the city for hours.

Army forces managed to bring down one drone during the attacks, but no further details were provided regarding damage from the latest strikes.

These developments follow several Houthi attacks in recent days on sites in Marib province, which, according to available information, resulted in the deaths of two people and injuries to 14 civilians.
