Israel on high alert as Trump weighs major strike on Iran

Channel 12 quoted an Israeli official as saying the heightened alert is in anticipation of Trump deciding the scale of any potential strike, as well as whether Israel might participate in any military action.

The report added that Israeli security forces are preparing for two scenarios: the first, that Iran could initiate an attack; the second, that President Trump could give the green light for Israel to join the anticipated strike.

According to the channel, tensions with Iran have reached a peak, with the situation described as being on the brink of explosion as security preparations continue for various scenarios.

The report also noted that Trump is closer than ever to issuing an order for a major strike on Iran, though a final decision has yet to be made.
