Turkey condemns Houthi attack on Saudi Arabia, warns of Red Sea threat

Turkey's Ministry of Defense has condemned last weekend's attempted attack on Saudi Arabia, voicing strong opposition to actions by the Houthis that threaten regional stability.

During a weekly press briefing at the ministry's headquarters in Ankara, defense ministry spokesperson Zeki Aktürk said Turkey denounces the drone attack targeting Saudi Arabia, stressing the urgent need to end such attempts that undermine stability in the region.

Aktürk, quoted by Anadolu Agency, added that the ongoing Houthi threat in the Red Sea and Bab Al-Mandab not only affects regional security but also poses risks to international maritime trade and global stability.
