Yemen’s armed forces announced they had carried out more than 1,900 strikes in the past 24 hours as part of Operation “Dawn of Yemen,” claiming to have neutralized over 1,150 fighters from the Houthi militia and destroyed or disabled more than 180 combat vehicles, transport, and supply assets, according to initial field estimates.

Armed Forces spokesperson Colonel Majed Al-Nazili said the operations were conducted on the eastern, western, and southwestern fronts, targeting weapons and ammunition depots, fortifications, military camps and sites, as well as reinforcements, gathering points, artillery positions, and transport and supply vehicles.

According to Al-Nazili, the targets included key positions controlled by the group, in addition to what he described as legitimate, high-value military targets deep within Houthi-held areas.

Simultaneously with the strikes, Yemen’s armed forces said their ground troops continued to advance, recapturing and securing additional strategic positions and consolidating recent gains.

Al-Nazili stated that the operations had weakened the Houthis’ ability to maneuver, provide support, and continue their combat activities, based on the initial field assessments released by the armed forces.

These developments come as part of Operation “Dawn of Yemen,” with military operations continuing on several fronts, according to the statement from the armed forces spokesperson.
