Iraqi authorities seize 47 drones and 46 projectiles in Anbar

Iraq’s Interior Ministry has seized 47 drones and 46 projectiles in the Anbar province.

The ministry said the operation was carried out based on precise intelligence received by Anbar police, according to a statement on its official X account.

This action is part of ongoing efforts by Iraqi authorities to control unauthorized weapons outside state oversight, aiming to safeguard national security and prevent attacks on neighboring countries.

Prime Minister Ali Al-Zaidi has previously given armed factions until the end of this month to hand over their weapons to the state.
