Yemeni interior minister: Armed forces and security united in defending state institutions

Yemeni Interior Minister Ibrahim Haidan said the armed forces and security services are engaged in a unified national battle to defend the republic and state institutions.

Haidan stressed that the military and security institutions are more cohesive and united than ever in confronting Houthi terrorism, adding that the battle has become a comprehensive national effort to end the coup and liberate all Yemeni territory.

He added that the Houthi militia has reached a stage of desperation and bankruptcy, turning to target civilians, vital facilities, and displacement camps after failing to achieve its objectives on the ground.

Recently, the Houthi militia has escalated attacks against key civilian and vital targets in Yemen, while the Yemeni army continues to confront them on multiple fronts to neutralize their threat and prevent them from seizing Yemeni territory.
