Putin to meet Iranian president and Qatari emir tomorrow in Moscow

The Kremlin has announced that Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet tomorrow in Moscow with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and the Emir of Qatar. Iranian media reported that Pezeshkian will visit Russia next week to meet Putin on the sidelines of a summit of gas-exporting countries. Relations between Russia and Iran have grown significantly closer since the launch of Russia's military operation in Ukraine in February 2022, with both nations facing extensive international sanctions.
