AIYemeni Minister of Interior Ibrahim Ali Haidan has affirmed that terrorist crimes committed by the Houthi militia against members and facilities of the security establishment will not deter the ministry’s personnel from continuing their national mission to uphold security and stability.
According to the Yemeni News Agency (SABA), Haidan stressed that the blood of the martyrs will not be in vain, and that these crimes will not be forgotten over time. He said a day will come when those responsible—including Houthi leaders and anyone involved, complicit, or who aided in these acts—will be brought to justice and held accountable under the law.
The minister noted that the terrorist targeting of security institutions and their training centers, which are responsible for maintaining security and stability, exposes the terrorist approach adopted by the Iran-backed Houthi militia against all Yemenis. He expressed his deepest condolences and sympathy to the families of the martyrs, praying for mercy for the deceased and a swift recovery for the wounded.
Haidan reiterated that such treacherous terrorist acts by the Houthi militia will not undermine the determination of security agencies to fulfill their national duty, safeguard stability, and confront threats to the province’s security and the safety of its citizens. He emphasized the importance of raising readiness and vigilance, and enhancing coordination among all relevant units and agencies to firmly counter any attempts to destabilize security.
The interior minister reaffirmed that the sacrifices of the martyrs will always be a source of pride and appreciation, and that their pure blood will only strengthen the resolve of security and military forces to continue their national duty and reinforce security and stability in Shabwa province and all liberated areas.
