US president says Washington in talks with Houthis

US President Donald Trump said that Washington is holding talks with the Houthis.

Trump added, according to Asharq, "The Houthis want to know if we can reach an agreement."

Meanwhile, the Yemeni army announced earlier today that more than 90 members of the Houthi group were killed or wounded, and six combat vehicles and two tanks were destroyed during clashes in Al-Wazi'iyah district, west of Taiz province.

A military source in the Taiz axis told the Armed Forces Media Center that the clashes over the past 24 hours resulted in the deaths of 30 Houthi fighters and injuries to more than 60 others.

The source added that the fighting was concentrated around the Al-Dhurayfa junction, coinciding with airstrikes carried out by the Yemeni armed forces targeting, according to the source, Houthi vehicles and gatherings in the conflict area and other locations in Al-Wazi'iyah.
