IOM distributes 3,000 tents to displaced people in Sudan

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Sudan announced on Tuesday the distribution and installation of 3,000 tents in displacement camps across the country, in partnership with the Turkish government.

In a statement, the organization said the emergency aid has provided safer shelter for thousands of displaced people, but stressed that the growing scale of humanitarian needs requires ongoing support and relief efforts.

The IOM added that it remains committed to expanding humanitarian assistance and delivering effective support to families affected by displacement in Sudan.
