Russian forces target Ukrainian radar stations, command center with drones

The Russian Ministry of Defense announced on Saturday that its armed forces used Geran drones to strike two Ukrainian radar stations in Kharkiv region and a command center at an airfield in Mykolaiv region.

According to a statement cited by Russia's Sputnik news agency, the ministry said a 35D6 radar station near Kashporivka and a P-18 radar near Korobotchkino, both in Kharkiv region, were hit.

The ministry added that the Ukrainian command center at Voznesensk airfield in Mykolaiv region was also targeted using a Geran-4 Seeker drone.

Earlier on Saturday, the Russian Ministry of Defense said that capturing the town of Zelenaya Dibrova in Zaporizhzhia region had opened up strategic military options for its Eastern Group, allowing them to take control of a wide sector of enemy defenses and liberate new areas.
