US military reloads Phalanx air defense system in Middle East

US Central Command has confirmed that American soldiers are reloading ammunition for the ground-based Phalanx air defense system in the Middle East.

In a statement on X, the command added that this system is a mobile air defense platform capable of neutralizing aerial threats.

Central Command also emphasized that its capabilities enhance US military air power and support regional security and stability within its area of operations.
