Saudi Pro League reschedules three rounds to support national team camp

The Saudi Pro League has announced the rescheduling of rounds eight, nine, and ten of the Roshn League, in coordination with the Saudi Football Federation and in response to a request to extend the national team’s preparation period ahead of its participation in the Gulf Cup. The move also takes into account rest periods between matches and aims to ensure player readiness.

Under the new schedule, round eight will now take place from October 9 to 11, instead of the previously set dates of September 17 to 19. Round nine will be held from October 15 to 17, replacing the original dates of October 9 to 11.

Round ten has also been rescheduled to run from October 18 to 20, instead of October 15 to 17. Meanwhile, round eleven will now begin on October 23, rather than October 22, in line with the adjusted rest periods.

The decision to revise the schedule reflects the Saudi Pro League’s commitment to supporting the national team’s preparations and upcoming participation, while remaining flexible with the season calendar. The changes are intended to provide the team with a longer preparation period and enhance player readiness ahead of the Gulf Cup.

The league reaffirmed its commitment to ongoing coordination with the Saudi Football Federation and to aligning the Roshn League calendar with the national team’s needs. The aim is to balance competition requirements with the importance of supporting the Kingdom’s representatives and to provide optimal conditions for them to represent Saudi Arabia at international events.
