Julian Alvarez tells Atletico Madrid he will boycott training over Barcelona move

Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Julian Alvarez has informed Atletico Madrid's management he will not attend the team's training session on Thursday, in protest over the club blocking his transfer to Barcelona.

Romano added that Alvarez has reiterated to the management his desire to join Barcelona before the end of the summer transfer window.

Atletico Madrid has refused to let the Argentine striker leave for Barcelona, despite receiving an official offer exceeding 100 million euros from the Catalan club last month.
