Karim Benzema parts ways with Al Hilal after financial settlement

French football star Karim Benzema has ended his contract with Al Hilal by mutual agreement, after both parties reached an amicable settlement regarding his remaining financial entitlements, according to sports journalist Abdullah Al-Hanayan.

Speaking on the "Malaeb" program with Faisal Al-Jafran on Al Arabiya FM, Al-Hanayan said Benzema will not receive the full amount owed to him by Al Hilal, which covers 10 months of salary.

He explained that the settlement was reached "mutually and amicably," noting that Al Hilal's offer included paying Benzema his outstanding wages with a certain percentage deducted, before both sides agreed on the final terms.

In a related development, Al-Hanayan revealed that Benzema did not attend Al Hilal training sessions over the past two days, as he was focused on finalizing the settlement with the club.
