Three titles decided in week five of 2026 Esports World Cup

The 2026 Esports World Cup in Paris enters its fifth week with decisive matchups, as champions are crowned in three major tournaments amid intense competition for the top spot among participating clubs.

This week features finals in Honor of Kings, Tekken 8, and Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, while preliminary rounds for PUBG Mobile and Rainbow Six Siege begin in preparation for week six of the tournament.

Three major titles decided

In the Honor of Kings competition, all eyes are on tomorrow's grand final, with reigning champions AG.AL entering the knockout stage as favorites after a strong group performance, seeking a second consecutive title. The total prize pool for the tournament stands at $3,025,000, with the winner set to claim the top prize of $600,000.

ROC Esports and Geekay Esports have already secured spots in the semifinals, while the battle continues for the remaining two qualification places.

In Tekken 8, Lim Soo-hoon, known as "Ulsan" from SOOP, aims for a historic third title, while Arslan Siddique, "Arslan Ash," is targeting his first championship in the game.

Meanwhile, in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, OpTic Gaming enters the competition looking to defend its title, backed by its "Green Wall" fanbase, against some of the strongest teams in the Call of Duty League (CDL).

Club rivalry and new tournament stages

The race for the top of the club standings has intensified as the tournament enters the second half of the points phase, with Team Falcons, Natus Vincere, Virtus.pro, Team Vitality, and AG.AL occupying the top five spots, separated by less than 600 points.

In the PUBG Mobile tournament, Yangon Galacticos return to defend their title, aiming for a stronger showing than in 2025, when they narrowly avoided elimination by a single point.

The group stage for Rainbow Six Siege also begins, following the qualification of Fnatic and CAG by VARREL from the preliminary rounds.

Honor of Kings action continues to heat up as the weekend approaches, with major prize money still up for grabs.
