Bradley Barcola rejects PSG contract extension, considers summer exit

French newspaper L'Équipe has reported that Bradley Barcola, the 23-year-old Paris Saint-Germain forward, has informed the club's management of his final decision not to extend his contract, which runs until 2028, turning down all offers from the club.

According to the report, Barcola has decided to halt negotiations and stick to his current contract length, opening the door to a possible departure from the Parisian side during the upcoming summer transfer window.

L'Équipe noted that the player's decision is not financially motivated, as PSG's latest offer included a significant salary increase. The newspaper confirmed that Barcola's desire to leave is purely for sporting reasons.

Barcola is unwilling to continue as a first-choice substitute or "12th man" on the wings, a role the coaching staff has relied on him for recently. The situation worsened after he expressed frustration at being benched in the last two Champions League finals, making him feel his role and importance within the team had diminished.
