Al-Nassr one goal away from Guinness World Record for scoring streak

Al-Nassr need just one goal in their match against Al-Khaleej on Saturday evening to claim the world record for the longest streak of consecutive league matches with a goal, and secure a place in the Guinness World Records, after reaching 93 straight games.

Led by Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo, Al-Nassr enter the Saudi Pro League Round 7 fixture level on 93 matches with Argentina's River Plate and Portugal's Benfica, according to media reports.

Al-Nassr's streak began in the 2023-2024 season, after scoring in their final 19 league games, then continued by scoring in all 34 matches of the 2024-2025 season, all 34 games of the 2025-2026 season, and the first 6 matches of the 2026-2027 campaign, bringing the total to 93 consecutive games.

If Al-Nassr score against Al-Khaleej, they will extend the streak to 94 matches and set a new world record.

Al-Nassr were crowned Saudi Pro League champions in the 2025/2026 season.
