Tottenham sign Manchester City's Marmoush on loan with option to buy

Tottenham Hotspur, who compete in the English Premier League, announced on Thursday that they have signed Omar Marmoush from Manchester City on loan, with the north London club retaining an option to make the Egyptian striker's move permanent next year.

British media reported that the deal includes an option to buy for £50 million ($67.96 million), with a further £10 million in add-ons.

Marmoush said in a statement: "It's great to be here. I'm very excited to start my journey with the team and I can't wait to meet the fans."

"Tottenham Hotspur is one of the biggest clubs in England, if not the world, and the project was very attractive to me."
