Asan museum takes part in eighth Crown Prince Camel Festival

The Asan Museum of Heritage participated in the eighth edition of the Crown Prince Camel Festival, as part of its ongoing collaboration with the Saudi Camel Federation. The partnership reflects their shared commitment to celebrating and preserving authentic Saudi heritage.

As part of its involvement, the Asan logo appeared alongside those of the Saudi Camel Federation and the festival on the sashes awarded to winners at the closing ceremony, held on September 13. During the festival, display screens at the Taif Camel Track showcased the museum’s mission to safeguard and celebrate Saudi tangible and intangible heritage, ensuring it remains present for the future and passed on to coming generations. The displays also highlighted the museum’s building and its contents, ahead of its planned opening in Diriyah in the coming years.

Asan’s participation underscores that the museum’s mission extends beyond its walls, supporting efforts to collaborate with organizations sharing its vision of heritage preservation, raising cultural awareness, and creating valuable opportunities for communities to engage with Saudi Arabia’s diverse traditions.
