Pakhtakor advances to AFC Champions League Elite after 3-0 win over Al-Hussein Irbid

Uzbekistan’s Pakhtakor has advanced to the group stage of the AFC Champions League Elite after defeating Jordan’s Al-Hussein Irbid 3-0 in their qualifying round match today.

Pakhtakor’s Dostonbek Khamdamov scored twice, netting goals in the 7th and 30th minutes, before Iraqi midfielder Bashar Resan added a third in the 52nd minute to seal the team’s official qualification.

With this win, Pakhtakor secures a spot in the tournament’s West Zone. The draw for this zone will take place on August 18, following the completion of the qualifiers.
