Yasser Al-Misehal says Saudi Football Federation budget stable at nearly SAR 1 billion annually

Former president of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation Yasser Al-Misehal has confirmed that the federation’s budget stands at around 1 billion riyals (SAR) annually, with funds disbursed monthly according to an approved mechanism. He stressed that there are no financial challenges, thanks to the generous support the federation receives.

Speaking at a press conference, Al-Misehal said that operations over the past three years have been institutional and smooth, with no financial issues arising. He noted that a comprehensive financial report was prepared by an independent auditor, covering the period from January 1 to the end of last July.

Al-Misehal stated that he will continue to serve Saudi football, emphasizing that his involvement in the sport does not depend on holding a specific position. He said his seven years of experience will benefit all through his membership in various committees and councils.

He added that he will visit the Saudi Arabian Football Federation tomorrow to meet with the new president, Badr Al-Eisa, wishing him and the board success in their upcoming responsibilities.

Al-Misehal affirmed his ongoing commitment to serving the country in any capacity, and reiterated his dedication to football, regardless of title. He currently serves as a FIFA Council member for another year, is on the Asian Football Confederation’s executive committee, and is a member of the organizing committees for the Gulf Cup and Asian Cup. He expressed his readiness to support any club or federation at any time.
