Inter Miami coach says Messi regaining composure after father's death

Inter Miami coach Guillermo Hoyos said that Argentine star Lionel Messi is gradually regaining his composure following the death of his father, Jorge Messi, earlier this August.

Jorge Messi, father of the Argentina national team captain, passed away at the age of 68 on August 8 in Rosario, Argentina. Messi returned to play for Inter Miami after a period of absence.

Messi came on as a substitute in his team's Leagues Cup match against León, which features clubs from Major League Soccer and Liga MX. Inter Miami lost that game, before Messi started in Sunday's match against Nashville, which ended in a 4-1 defeat for his side.

Hoyos noted that Messi is gradually regaining his balance and composure as he returns to match action after going through a difficult family period.
