Manchester City extends contract of Croatian defender Josko Gvardiol until 2031

Manchester City has extended the contract of Croatian international defender Josko Gvardiol, signing him to a long-term deal until 2031.

Gvardiol, 24, has made 122 appearances for Manchester City, scoring 13 goals and helping the club win six titles. He has also earned 52 caps for the Croatian national team.

Manchester City sporting director Hugo Viana described Gvardiol as one of the world's top defenders, highlighting his versatility and ability to play in multiple positions, which provides the team with valuable defensive options.
