Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, Minister of Sports and President of Diriyah Season, inaugurated the activities of Diriyah Season 2022 in its 2nd edition, which will continue until February 22, 2023.
This came in a ceremony held on Friday in Turaif district, in the presence of Prince Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Abdurrahman, Governor of Diriyah and the Minister of Tourism, Ahmed bin Aqeel Al-Khateeb.
The opening ceremony included the holding of many live shows, in addition to announcing a package of international sports competitions and various recreational and cultural events, which will be witnessed in historic Diriyah over a period of 4 months.
For his part, the Minister of Sports and President of the Diriyah Season praised, in a speech during the ceremony, the support and interest being accorded by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and HRH Crown Prince to the global events that the Kingdom is witnessing, stressing that this support and attention gave them all the ingredients for success and potentials for excellence, pointing out at the same time that the historical Diriyah will witness many qualitative events, extending from the roots of originality, as a permanent global destination for excellence and dazzle, and in a place that carries a long heritage in the history of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
