The Saudi U20 national football team continued to deliver an impressive performance in the 2025 AFC Asian Cup qualifiers, securing a commanding 4-0 victory over Afghanistan in their match on Wednesday at Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Sports City Stadium in Abha.
The match saw near-total dominance by the Saudi team, which scored all four goals in the second half.
Talal Haji opened the scoring in the 56th minute, followed by Thamer Al-Khaibari's second goal in the 76th minute. The third and fourth goals came in injury time, scored by Al-Khaibari and Ali Al-Mahdawi.
The Saudi team will face Macau on Friday in their third match of the AFC Asian Cup qualifiers.
