Saudi show jumping team player Ramzi Al-Duhami and Saudi taekwondo team player Dunya Abutaleb had the honor of raising the Kingdom’s flag at the opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympics.
Al-Duhami expressed pride in the honor of hoisting the Kingdom's flag at the Olympic event alongside his colleague Abutaleb, noting that it is a dream that any Saudi citizen has. He also expressed hope that he and his fellow participants will succeed in performing at a level befitting the reputation of Saudi sports.
Abutaleb had the same wishes and expressed hope for an honorable performance that matches the support and attention provided by the wise leadership to sports in the Kingdom, and the continuous follow-up by Minister of Sport and President of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal.
