Saudi international driver Yazeed Al-Rajhi finished the third edition of the Andalusia Rally, which constituted the fourth and final round of the new W2RC Desert Rally Championship, in third place after an impressive and eye-catching performance with a total time of 8 hours 49 minutes 01 seconds.

Al-Rajhi managed to secure the third place well and deservedly also after a successful and busy season for the new world championship in the FIA calendar, the W2RC, which concluded with the Andalucia Rally in Spain.

It is worth noting that Al-Rajhi, who is armed with a spirit of challenge, experience and determination to overcome difficulties, succeeded in overcoming the challenges and difficulties he faced in all rounds of the tournament, which cost him a lot of time, hoping to win the title in the coming seasons.

This is a historic achievement for the only Saudi driver participating in the new World Rally Championship in a Toyota Hilux, as this achievement is added to his record of global achievements in motorsports, especially in the world of rallying.

In the final round, the Saudi champion Yazeed Al-Rajhi ended a heavy-caliber competition between Andalusian farms and forests in the Andalusian region in southern Spain, which hosted the Andalucia Rally in its third edition, which was characterized by deceptive technical tracks.

Al-Rajhi began his journey in the new W2RC championship in January of this year with the Dakar Rally held in his homeland, Saudi Arabia, and he was planning to participate in five rounds around the world, but soon the Kazakhstan tour was canceled due to security reasons that prevented the tour from taking place. After that, the championship headed to the UAE, where the sands of the Empty Quarter are shared by four countries. As for the third round, it was in Africa, especially in Morocco, to conclude the championship in Europe, specifically in Spain, in the Andalucia Rally.

Yazid Al-Rajhi, who continues his success in world championships and is supported by his official partner Abdul Latif Jameel Motors, expressed his happiness and pride in finishing the championship on the podium, saying: “We thank God for completing the season, the competition was strong since the first round, and thanks to God we were able to finish it on the podium despite the problems We faced in some rounds of tire punctures, mechanical problems and others that cost us time. I am very happy that we as a team were able to face the obstacles and we are satisfied with the results, the real success is in the ability to continue and we are on the right track to win more titles in the world championships as we look forward to Moving forward to next season with a new calendar and new tours in Mexico and Argentina.”

"The Andalusian tour was not easy, its tracks were more technical and narrower, and the second stage was canceled due to the rainy weather that forced the medical helicopters not to fly in the stage, in any case, we finished it at the required level."

The Saudi champion, Yazid Al Rajhi, thanked his official partner, Abdul Latif Jameel Motors, for their unlimited support in all his international participations. "I thank Abdul Latif Jameel Motors for their continuous support, they are partners in the success and global achievements that we make together, all thanks and appreciation for their constant support for us."
