Flick drops Raphinha for Barcelona’s Getafe clash, adds Hamza

Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick has announced that Raphinha will miss Saturday’s La Liga match against Getafe.

Instead, Flick has included Egyptian striker Hamza Abdel Karim in the squad, though he is not expected to start, with Gabriel Jesus likely to feature in the starting lineup.

Raphinha’s fitness had been in doubt after he picked up an injury while on international duty with Brazil. Flick confirmed his absence by releasing the squad list for the Getafe match without the league’s current top scorer.
