Newcastle, Bournemouth and Crystal Palace reach Carabao Cup fourth round

Newcastle United advanced to the fourth round of the English Football League Cup with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Millwall on Tuesday evening.

Joseph Willock scored the only goal of the match in the 81st minute, securing Newcastle's place in the next round.

Bournemouth also progressed comfortably, defeating Lincoln City 4-0 at home.

Ryan Christie netted a hat-trick with goals in the 7th, 69th, and 88th minutes, while youngster Ryan added a fourth in stoppage time.

At the same time, Crystal Palace beat Middlesbrough 3-0, with Jørgen Strand Larsen scoring twice in the 37th and 53rd minutes, and Daichi Kamada adding a third in the 72nd minute.

Sunderland also advanced after a narrow 1-0 win over Hull City, thanks to a 71st-minute goal from Chemseddine Talbi. Bradford City defeated Leyton Orient 3-1 in a lower-profile encounter.
