Moein Chaabani appointed Tunisia national football coach until 2030

The Tunisian Football Federation has announced the appointment of Moein Chaabani as head coach of the national team, with a four-year contract running until the summer of 2030, according to a decision by the federation's board of directors.

The 45-year-old Tunisian coach succeeds Frenchman Hervé Renard, who led Tunisia in two World Cup matches against Japan and the Netherlands.

Chaabani's appointment follows a successful coaching career in which he guided Espérance to back-to-back CAF Champions League titles in 2018 and 2019, three Tunisian league championships, and two Tunisian Super Cup victories.

He also managed in the Egyptian Premier League with Al Masry and Ceramica Cleopatra, before moving to coach RS Berkane, where he spent the past two years.

During his tenure at RS Berkane, Chaabani led the team to win both the CAF Confederation Cup and the Moroccan league title in 2025.
