Bukayriyah remain winless after seven rounds, sit bottom of First Division

Bukayriyah FC’s first team ended the seventh round of the Saudi First Division League in 18th and last place, with just two points and no victories since the start of the season, following a series of disappointing results over their seven matches.

Bukayriyah’s 2-0 defeat to Al-Zulfi on Tuesday evening marked their fifth consecutive loss, after opening the campaign with draws against Al-Anwar and Al-Okhdood. The team has collected only two points out of a possible 21 from their first seven games.

Bukayriyah began the season with a goalless draw against Al-Anwar, followed by a 1-1 draw with Al-Okhdood in the second round. They then lost 1-0 to Al-Adalah, 4-1 to Al-Jandal, 2-1 to Damac, 3-1 to Al-Tai, and most recently 2-0 to Al-Zulfi.

According to statistics from the first seven rounds, Bukayriyah have scored four goals and conceded 13, with two draws and five defeats.

On the technical side, the club made a coaching change during this period, dismissing their previous coach and appointing a German manager mid-season. However, the team’s results remained unchanged, with no wins by the end of the seventh round.

As a result, Bukayriyah have completed the first seven rounds of the league without a single victory, earning just two points and suffering five straight losses to remain at the bottom of the table.
