Cristiano Ronaldo marries Georgina Rodriguez in Portugal ceremony

Portuguese football star Cristiano Ronaldo, 41, has married model Georgina Rodriguez in a civil ceremony held on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, in Cascais, Portugal, according to a press statement.

The wedding was described as a "private and intimate moment," attended by their five children.

Ronaldo announced the marriage on Instagram, sharing a photo of the couple’s hands wearing wedding rings, with the caption: "C❤️G".

The marriage comes a year after Rodriguez announced their engagement. On August 11, 2025, she revealed her diamond engagement ring on Instagram, writing: "Yes, I do. In this life and every life."

Their children include twins Eva Maria and Mateo, aged 9, daughter Alana, 8, daughter Bella, 4, and Cristiano Jr., 16, Ronaldo’s son from a previous relationship.

Ronaldo and Rodriguez first met in 2017, when she was working as a sales assistant at a Gucci store. The couple made their red carpet debut in January that year at FIFA’s "The Best" awards in Zurich, and officially confirmed their relationship on Instagram in May, when Ronaldo posted a photo with Rodriguez.
