Courtois backs Mbappe for 2026 Ballon d'Or

Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has said that his French teammate Kylian Mbappe deserves to win the 2026 Ballon d'Or.

Courtois argued that no player outperformed Mbappe individually this season, although he acknowledged that Lamine Yamal had the edge in terms of team achievements.

In media remarks, Courtois said: "I think Kylian deserves to win, but people vote according to their own logic."
