Al-Jawaa Club renamed to Riyadh Al-Khubara by sports minister

Saudi Minister of Sports Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal has approved changing the official name of Al-Jawaa Sports Club in Riyadh Al-Khubara, Qassim region, to Riyadh Al-Khubara Sports Club, according to a decision issued on October 20, 2026.

The minister’s approval follows a resolution by the club’s general assembly on September 21, 2026, to change the name after completing the necessary official procedures.

The adoption of the new name aligns the club’s identity with Riyadh Al-Khubara governorate, reflecting a significant shift in its official identity and strengthening its association with the community it represents in sports.
