Saudi Toyota Hill Climb Championship concludes in Taif

The 2026 Saudi Toyota Hill Climb Championship concluded today in Taif, under the supervision of the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation, managed by Bakhashab Motorsports, and in partnership with Jameel Motorsport, the official partner of the championship.

Driver Mamoun Amro Al-Qabbani was crowned champion after the third and final round, held on the Aqabat Al-Mohammadiyah course in the Al-Shafa area of Taif. The event featured 48 male and female competitors across 11 categories, including the Women's Cup, on a 4.2-kilometer course with 30 turns, ascending from 1,900 to about 2,150 meters above sea level.

Mamoun Al-Qabbani secured first place overall in the final round, recording the best combined time from two out of four races, with a total of 3:25.792 minutes. Faisal Sufyan Al-Qabbani finished second, and Rabee Moayyad Al-Aawar took third.

The final round saw closely matched performances across categories. Mamoun Al-Qabbani won the Class 1 title, Rabee Moayyad Al-Aawar claimed Class 2A, Riyad Batal took Class 2B, Mahmoud Ahmed Abed won Class 3A, and Ibrahim Al-Shuraida secured Class 3B. Mohannad Salama won Class 4A, while Abdullah Moamena took Class 4B.

In other categories, Enas Hamza Abtini won Class 5A, Omar Abdullah Al-Deini took Class 5B, Abdulaziz Al-Rumaih claimed first in Cat 2 SC, and Abdullah Ahmed Al-Omari won Cat 2 SS. Reem Al-Aboud was awarded the Women's Cup.

A team of 38 marshals contributed to the success of the final round by organizing competitor movements, ensuring track readiness, and overseeing safety procedures, resulting in a well-organized event.

The conclusion of the 2026 Saudi Toyota Hill Climb Championship reflects the ongoing efforts of the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation to develop motorsports, broaden participation in national competitions, and raise the level of competition, in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
