Marino Pušić appointed Al-Ahli head coach after departure of Matthias Jaissle

Al-Ahli has announced the appointment of Marino Pušić as the club's new head coach, succeeding German manager Matthias Jaissle, who has departed for Newcastle United.

The club stated that Pušić has signed a contract running until June 2028 and will arrive with his full coaching staff.

On Wednesday, Al-Ahli confirmed the end of its contractual relationship with former head coach Matthias Jaissle, following his official resignation.

In a post on its official X account, Al-Ahli said: "The club announces the end of its contractual relationship with first team coach Matthias Jaissle, following his resignation. He will pay the value of the release clause within the period specified in the contract."
