Al-Ahli coach praises players after 3-1 win over Al-Hazm in Roshn League

Al-Ahli head coach Marino Pušić and Al-Hazm head coach Jalel Kadri held a press conference following their teams' match in the seventh round of the Saudi Pro League, known as the Roshn League. The game, played at Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Sports City Stadium in Jeddah, ended with Al-Ahli claiming a 3-1 victory.

Pušić praised his players' reaction after conceding an early goal, emphasizing that the team regained its balance, created opportunities, and controlled the match after equalizing. He noted that the players displayed technical quality that contributed to securing the win.

For his part, Kadri attributed his team's dip in performance to the absence of three key players due to injury, as well as playing their third match in six days. He explained that these factors affected the players' technical, physical, and mental readiness.

Kadri added that Al-Ahli's response after falling behind, along with some individual mistakes, made things more difficult for his side. He confirmed that the changes he made in the second half were not enough to match Al-Ahli's determination to seal the victory.
