Ettifaq sign French winger Ryan Messi from Strasbourg

Ettifaq have finalized the signing of French winger Ryan Messi from Strasbourg, marking his return to the Saudi Pro League after a previous stint with Neom, as part of the club’s preparations for the new season.

The club officially announced the deal on Friday via its account on X, posting the message “Messi is Ettifaqi,” followed by “A new chapter for Messi with Ettifaq.”

Ettifaq’s management did not disclose the financial terms or contract length for the French winger, though media reports indicated that Messi joins on loan until the end of next season.

Messi is under contract with Strasbourg until June 2030, but previously played in the Saudi Pro League during the second half of last season, when he was loaned to Neom.
