Besiktas president denies interest in signing Mohamed Salah

Besiktas president Serdal Adalı has stated that the club was never interested in signing Mohamed Salah, emphasizing that fans should be clear on this point. His comments come after Salah reached an agreement with Turkish side Trabzonspor.

Adalı added: "These matters are settled on the pitch; I have completed many similar deals. We will all see what happens next season."

The Besiktas president also confirmed that the club is currently working to finalize a deal for Serbian striker Dušan Vlahović, while denying any contact to sign Real Madrid's Moroccan player Brahim Díaz.

Besiktas had entered negotiations to sign Salah a few days ago, but the deal fell through, with the Turkish club reportedly frustrated by the high commission demanded by the player's agent.

Mohamed Salah arrived in Istanbul on Wednesday morning by private jet and was seen wearing a Trabzonspor shirt after reaching an agreement with the club.
