2027 AFC Asian Cup tickets valid for new dates; refunds open until January 5
Ahlan platform allows 2027 AFC Asian Cup ticket holders to request refunds until January 5, 2027, after the tournament was postponed to new dates.
Key Takeaways
AIThe Ahlan platform has enabled holders of 2027 AFC Asian Cup tickets in Saudi Arabia to request refunds until January 5, 2027. This follows Tuesday’s announcement by the Asian Football Confederation that the tournament has been postponed to run from December 23, 2027, to January 21, 2028.
The platform stated on its X account that purchased tickets remain valid for the new tournament dates, but refunds are available for those who prefer them. The process can be completed online in six steps.
According to Ahlan, the refund process begins by opening the link sent to the ticket holder’s email, then logging into their Ahlan account. Those who did not receive the link can access the process directly via refund.ahlan.sa.
The user then enters the one-time password (OTP) sent via email, SMS, or WhatsApp, and selects the tickets to be refunded using the order number.
Next, the user enters the required bank details to complete the request, reviews the information for accuracy, and submits the request with a new verification code.
Ahlan clarified that the refund will be issued to the original payment method, or, if that is not possible, to the bank account provided by the user.
