Iraq national football team arrives in Jeddah for Gulf Cup 27

Iraq's national football team has arrived in Jeddah to prepare for the 27th Arabian Gulf Cup, known as Gulf Cup 27, which will be hosted by Saudi Arabia from September 23 to October 6.

The delegation was welcomed at King Abdulaziz International Airport by representatives of the tournament's organizing committee. After completing arrival procedures, the team proceeded to their accommodation to begin the final phase of their preparations before the competition starts.

The Iraqi team will hold training sessions in Jeddah over the coming days as they gear up for their matches, aiming to compete for the Gulf title in the tournament's 27th edition.

With Iraq's arrival, Jeddah has now received delegations from Qatar, Oman, Kuwait, Yemen, and Iraq. The teams from the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain are expected to arrive soon, completing the lineup of participating nations.

Organizing and technical committees continue their preparations to host the Gulf event, which is being held in Jeddah for the first time. Sports facilities and supporting infrastructure are ready to welcome teams and fans from across the region.
