Al Hilal considers move for Victor Osimhen to replace Karim Benzema

Al Hilal has expressed interest in signing Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen from Turkish club Galatasaray as a potential replacement for French forward Karim Benzema in attack.

Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri reported that Al Hilal has inquired about Osimhen's situation and is studying the possibility of bringing him in during the upcoming period.

Tavolieri explained that Al Hilal management has contacted Osimhen to discuss the terms of a possible transfer, while Galatasaray has indicated willingness to sell the player for €65 million.

The same source noted that completing the deal depends on Osimhen's approval, especially since Al Hilal previously attempted to sign him without success.

In this context, Al Hilal is paving the way for the Nigerian striker by preparing to part ways with Karim Benzema, who joined the club last January on a contract running until 2027 after terminating his deal with Al Ittihad.

Osimhen's contract with Galatasaray runs until 2029, and Tavolieri suggested that the coming days will be decisive in determining whether he will move to the Saudi Pro League.
