Al Hilal targets Bournemouth winger Rayan to replace Malcom this summer

Al Hilal is targeting young Brazilian winger Rayan, who plays for English club Bournemouth, in the current summer transfer window as part of a plan to replace Malcom, who is no longer in the plans of coach Simone Inzaghi.

According to Brazil's Globo network, Al Hilal aims to sell Malcom and sign Rayan, who has impressed in the Premier League since joining Bournemouth midway through the season, scoring five goals and providing two assists in 15 matches.

Rayan, 19, also made a positive impact with Brazil at the 2026 World Cup, despite the team's early exit in the round of 16 against Norway. He played in four matches, starting three, and only missed the opening game against Morocco.

Rayan is adept at playing as a right winger, the same position as Malcom, making him a suitable replacement in Al Hilal's squad. The club has also signed Dutch winger Crysencio Summerville, who shone with West Ham United in the Premier League last season.

Expected deal value

Rayan joined Bournemouth from Vasco da Gama at the start of 2026 for €35 million, and any future transfer is expected to require a higher fee.
