Kuwait and Iraq have announced support for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's intention to bid to host the 2034 FIFA World Cup.
Kuwaiti foreign ministry expressed its support for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's endeavors and efforts to host the 2034 FIFA World Cup in a statement on Thursday.
The statement reflects the comprehensive renaissance achieved by the Kingdom and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries that enables them to organize various international sporting events.
Meanwhile, President of the Iraq Football Association Adnan Derjal has emphasized his full support for Saudi Arabia's bid to host the World Cup 2034.
In a statement to Iraqi News Agency, Derjal said, "The Saudi Arabian Football Federation's bid to host the World Cup is a big step for all Arabs and we must support it with all our capabilities."
Derjal added that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia possesses all the necessary capabilities to host the world-class tournament and deliver a memorable World Cup that will bring the football world together.
