Real Madrid sign Ivorian winger Yan Diomande in record deal through 2033

Real Madrid have finalized the signing of Ivorian winger Yan Diomande from German club RB Leipzig on a contract running until June 2033, in what is now the most expensive transfer in the Spanish club’s history.

The club announced the acquisition of the 19-year-old during the current summer transfer window, with Diomande signing a five-year contract.

The deal is valued at around €135 million, potentially rising to €140 million with incentives, surpassing the previous club record set by the signing of England’s Jude Bellingham, which was worth approximately €127 million including add-ons.

Real Madrid moved for Diomande after his standout performances for Leipzig in the Bundesliga last season, which attracted significant attention.

Under a resale clause from his earlier move to Leipzig, Leganés will receive about 5% of the transfer fee.

Real Madrid have yet to disclose Diomande’s salary or the date of his official presentation to the media and fans.
