Egyptian star Mohamed Salah joins Turkey's Trabzonspor on two-year deal

Turkish club Trabzonspor officially announced on Thursday the signing of Egyptian star Mohamed Salah to its first football team, joining from Liverpool on a free transfer.

In a statement on its official Facebook page, Trabzonspor said: "Our new player Mohamed Salah has signed a two-year contract with our club in the presence of club president Ertuğrul Doğan."

The club also published several photos of Mohamed Salah during the contract signing.

A signing ceremony is scheduled for Thursday evening at 7:30 p.m. Cairo time at Papara Park stadium.

Mohamed Salah arrived in Turkey on Wednesday, where he received a hero's welcome from Turkish fans upon his arrival.
