Milan defeat Torino 2-1 in Serie A season opener

Milan secured a 2-1 victory over hosts Torino on Sunday evening in the opening round of the Italian Serie A.

Milan took the lead through Alvaro Morata in the 64th minute, with Adrien Rabiot adding a second goal.

Torino pulled one back in the first minute of stoppage time in the second half, with Che Adams scoring their only goal.

In another match from the same round, Atalanta defeated visitors Sassuolo 2-1.
