Mohammed Al-Nasfan clinches Riyadh Squash Pro Championship title

Mohammed Al-Nasfan was crowned champion of the second Riyadh PSA 3k Pro Squash Tournament by Saudi Squash Federation President Adel Al-Oqaili. The tournament concluded today at Falcon Club in Riyadh, featuring 16 players from Kuwait, Egypt, Pakistan, and host nation Saudi Arabia.

Al-Nasfan secured the title after defeating Kuwait’s Ammar Al-Tamimi 3-0 in the final, which was attended by a number of squash enthusiasts.

He began his campaign with a 3-0 victory over compatriot Salem Al-Muwallad in the round of 16, followed by another 3-0 win against Pakistan’s Mohammad Gilani in the quarterfinals. In the semifinals, Al-Nasfan overcame Egypt’s Saif Wael 3-2 in a dramatic match to reach the final.

This marks Al-Nasfan’s seventh title in 2026. Earlier this year, he won the Czech European Championship in January, the Qatar PSA 1k in February, the Germany European Championship also in February, the Singapore Asian Championship in June, achieved a historic seventh place at the World Championship in Canada in July, claimed the Riyadh PSA 1k title last month, and most recently, the Hong Kong Asian Junior Championship in August.
